Sunday, February 3 - Our program this morning will feature a talk by the Dalai Lama entitled "No Regrets: Dalai Lama's Advice for Living & Dying." In this talk His Holiness the Dalai Lama addresses the profound importance of preparing for dying & how to live a meaningful life. This video provides a rare insight in HHDL as he gives advice to the terminally ill, medical professionals & general public on issues, including grief & loss and emotional & spiritual support at the end of life. Filmed in Australia at Karuna Hospice Service, HHDL brings compassion, practical advice & wisdom to outline the path for a fulfilling life & a peaceful death.

Sunday, February 10 - Imbolc is a Pagan festival celebrating the beginning of spring. Groundhog's Day is the day we pay attention to the comings and goings of particular rodent life. Brigid of Kildare was an Irish nun who later was made a Saint. What do these three things have in common? Children's religious education will be provided.

Sunday, February 17 - (Rescheduled from January) Karla Mundt will lead our program this morning, in which a woman of Limited Knowledge will attempt to Share some Wisdom from the book, "The Tao of Pooh", followed by Lively Conversation, tea and honey cakes. There will be singing and some humming as needed.

Sunday, February 24 - Jim Smithson will share with us a video of a recent presentation here in Burlington by Dr. Brian Metzger. Dr. Metzger is a Burlington native who is now an Associate Professor of Physics at Columbia University. His presentation is entitled “How Gravitational Waves Pointed Us To the Origin of Gold.” Jim Hilkin and others from the SE Iowa Astronomy club will introduce the video and lead a discussion after.
