October Services

October 1st Service, 10:30 AM
"Faith in a Liberal Religion"
Our service this morning explores the meaning of liberal religious faith. Our tradition has deep roots in the liberal religious tradition, and those roots empower and inform us as we move forward into an ever more uncertain future. We will draw on historic Unitarian and Universalist speakers as we discover and celebrate our liberal religious path. Rick Johnson will lead this morning's service, and children's religious education will be provided.

October 8th Service, 10:30 AM
"Lacking Religious Dogma"
Often UUs are asked how people from many religious backgrounds can gather for meaningful experiences on Sunday morning. Our lack of dogma can be a stumbling block for those unfamiliar with us. Today's service will look at our lack of dogmatic belief statements and how that enables meaningful sharing among people of diverse beliefs. Rick Johnson will lead this morning's service, and children's religious education will be provided.

October 15th Service, 10:30 AM
"Economic Discussion"
This morning we gather for discussion once again, this time to take a look at the economic difficulties our country is facing. We will wrestle with the question: "Is it time to begin embracing a more socialist approach to economics?" Does past example imply future failure? Is capitalism truly the engine of prosperity that its advocates claim? Join us for coffee and discussion today!
